19-year-old accused of child sex in Greenville Co.

GREENVILLE, SC (WSPA) – A 19-year-old is facing three charges related to the sexual exploitation of minors.

The SC Attorney General’s Office announced Monday that Aaron Mateo Pobjecky, of Greenville, was arrested following a child sex abuse investigation.

The investigation was launched when investigators received a cyber tipline report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which led them to Pobjecky.

Officials said Pobjeckly was allegedly in possession of files containing child sexual abuse material.

The suspect was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 30, according to the attorney general’s office. He was charged with three counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Each crime carries a prison sentence of up to 10 years, officials said.

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office assisted in Pobjecky’s arrest.

The case will be prosecuted by the Public Prosecution Service.
