Private lawyer Martin Kpebu has expressed shock at what he describes as the greed of outgoing President Nana Akufo-Addo.
During a panel discussion on TV3 on Saturday, December 28, 2024, as monitored by Ghanaweb, Kpebu wondered why a leader of Akufo-Addo’s stature would exhibit such greed. “…I mean, look at the greed.
You come in at the age of 73 and you are so greedy and greedier than John Mahama who is not even a lawyer,” said lawyer Kpebu.
He criticized President Akufo-Addo for what he described as poor performance in office despite years of high expectations that he would lead Ghana to prosperity. “In 2016, I openly voted for Akufo-Addo and supported him because they said he had been prepared for 40 years.
