In fact, he has gone out into the world and spent his money on a mansion with a swimming pool where he can live with his parents.

And he has been recognized at the SPOTY Awards for his astonishing rise.
SunSport looks back at Littler’s whirlwind year, starting with success on the podium.
Prize money
Despite losing to Humphries in last year’s showpiece event at the Darts World Cup, Littler managed to raise a whopping £200,000 for his work.
Currently his prize money stands at £1,028,500, but expect this to increase as he takes up work at the Palace.
£633,500 from that income came from ranking events, while winning the Premier League and World Series of Darts earned a whopping £395,000.
His dominance saw him win 146 of his 190 matches this season.
And his matches had no shortage of entertainment.
As a born showman, there have been five nine-darters and more than 800 maximums.
It was inevitable that his efforts would be recognized at the SPOTY Awards.
Although he lost the top prize to Kelly Hodgkinsonhis tuxedo was put to good use when he won the Young Sports Personality of the Year Award.

The sponsors line up to throw money at the teenager whose limits know no bounds.
When Littler came on the scene, Target Darts signed him to a contract.

KP Nuts is the latest brand to appear on Littler’s shirt
Then boohooMAN reached out and had Littler do a bit of modeling for their latest clothing line.
If that’s not enough, YouTubers Side men jumped on Littler’s bandwagon and signed him up to promote their brand new breakfast cereal, BEST.
In recent weeks, KP Nuts has joined the party by signing him up for a deal that will see their name embroidered on his shirt when he throws the darts.
And one that is close to his heart, as he is an avid gamer, Xbox also worked with him.
Famous friends
Littler’s rise has brought him closer to some of his heroes.
After achieving great success at the World Cup, he was invited to Old Trafford to watch his beloved Manchester United play Spurs.
He posed with that for a moment legendary boss Sir Alex Ferguson and was greeted by Bruno Fernandes.
He was even allowed to walk on the hallowed grass of Old Trafford.
While all this was going on, David Beckham had slid into his DMs as the two had built an unlikely friendship. Becks now follows him on social media and they exchanged messages.

The football elite also wants a piece of Littler.
When Arsenal stayed in the same hotel as the youngster, Declan Rice and Aaron Ramsdale reportedly asked security for a photo with Littler.
“Shouldn’t it be the other way around,” Littler joked.
F1 Ace Lando Norris and Littler also got together to throw some darts and take a lap around the track in a race car during a tour of Silverstone.
TV stardom
Because it has become so affordable and popular, TV executives now can’t get enough of Littler.
During an appearance on The Jonathan Ross Show, Littler shared the couch with Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown and Oasis rocker Liam Gallagher.
Despite being surrounded by those A-listers, it was Littler who was the best draw.
He even got to give actress Brown a lesson in throwing darts – who could have predicted that Hollywood and darts would merge so seamlessly?
Littler’s rise in popular culture was so great; it also led to a reboot of the cult game show Bullseye.

And of course he stunned the audience and presenter Freddie Flintoff with a signature maximum during his cameo.
Living in luxury
In June he teased that he would get a new car after passing his driving test: a modest Volkswagen.
However, it was then revealed that he had moved his parents from their £180,000 double bedroom to a flashy property costing £6,000 a month on “Millionaires Row” in Warrington.
The five-bedroom detached cottage is in a leafy village on the edge of his birthplace in Cheshire.
It was Littler’s parents who spilled the beans on their luxurious new rental home.
The darts star’s parents, Anthony Buckley, 43, and Lisa Littler, 40, shared loved-up photos of themselves enjoying a dip in the private pool on Instagram.
Behind them, a projection screen showed them keeping track of the darts and watching Littler’s rival Luke Humphries in action.
