The Jujutsu Kaisen manga reached its conclusion in September 2024 after finishing the battle against Sukuna. The King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, is the main antagonist of the series and he dies thanks to the combined efforts of all the wizards. As the long-standing battle against Sukuna ends, every sorcerer strives to contribute to the reform of the Jujutsu world. The never-ending battle against the curses will never end, but with the Jujutsu world providing better education to future sorcerers, casualties can be minimized in the future.

However, among the wizards there is one who could not participate in the attack on Sukuna. Panda loses two of its cores and its entire body after his fight with Kashimo. Just as Kashimo is about to blow Panda’s head off, Hakari saves him just in the nick of time. Yet Panda is now very small and can no longer fight. Unfortunately, without Masamichi Yaga’s help, he remains like this for a long time. He appears shortly before the battle of the strongest to cheer on Gojo. The Jujutsu Kaisen Epilogue from part 30 reveals his tragic fate, even though he survives the longest compared to his peers.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Panda epilogue takes place in 2080
Even though Panda is the only remaining character in the future, his fate is just too tragic. He lost his independent control function after the sorcery terrorism of November 2018. In October 2035, he ceased operations completely and was registered in the Gojo family store. He was given away as a special cursed object and his ownership was transferred to Yuta Okkotsu, the chief representative of the Gojo Clan. Yuta took over the Gojo clan as acting head after the death of his teacher.
In the year 2080, Yuta’s grandchildren went to the store to see Panda. They say the items in the room are Yuta’s treasures, including Panda. Even though Panda has lost all functions, he still moves occasionally. He still has his consciousness, and even thinks that Yuta’s grandchildren are very noisy. Despite surviving the longest out of all the JJK characters, Panda suffers the worst fate by living a lonely existence. All his friends grow old and die while he is stored away like an object. Time stands still for him and he always lives in a small body that looks like a cuddly toy.

How did Panda survive for so long?
Panda is an Abrupt Mutation Cursed Corpse created by Masamichi Yaga, the only known character who can create independent cursed corpses that produce their own cursed energy. He created Panda who was born conscious and possessed three cores. Each of his cores possess unique properties, allowing him to switch between cores and change his physical form at will. Even among the Cursed Corpses, Panda is one of a kind. He can only survive so long because he doesn’t have the body of a mortal. If Yaga were still alive, he probably could have helped Panda return to his former strength after the battle with Kashimo. Unfortunately, Panda completely lost his function and became inactive while keeping his consciousness intact. In this way it can continue to exist for decades or even centuries.
