Welcome to December, Star Seeds.
The month starts with a strong one new moon in Sagittarius in the early hours of December 1 (November 30 for those on the West Coast.)
Under these dark skies and the influence of the Sagittarius, we are reminded that the unknown is the last horizon of hope and that curiosity – a better choice than caution, if we allow it – is our best defense against fear.

While Mercury, our coyote planet of technology, communications and travel, stations mid-monthThe shadow period of this confrontation with the growth slowdown extends into the first day of the year, giving the holidays an extra layer of intrigue and intensity and, if we allow it, an ample opportunity to redefine family, ritual and nourishment.
“In the sign of the expansive, philosophical and adventure-seeking Sagittarius, there is plenty of room for improvement on several fronts,” astrologer Babs Cheungaka The Astrotranslator, says De Post.
On December 6, Mars, our warlike planet of will and desire, goes retrograde in Leo, inviting us on a self-examination-like hero’s journey in which we slow down and think long and softly about the consequences of our actions, the authenticity of our desires, and the story we write with the blood and ashes of both.

A full cold moon in Gemini lights up the sky on December 15 and the winter solstice arrives on December 21st and heralds it Capricorn season.
And then, my friends, after Yule and Christmas, it slowly slides into the new year.
Here’s to a relaxed feeling that feels easy and a new year that’s better than where we’ve been. Forward, always forward.
Read on to see how the planets will have their way with you.
Slow down and calm down, Aries. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
For Ram Cheung advises retreating rather than advancing at all costs.
“Now is the time to get good at building patience and easing up on the chase. If you can take a step back, rather than brute force your way to a haphazard solution, you can save a lot of unnecessary stress, especially during the holiday rush.”
Check and collect this month, Taurus. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
For the bull people, Cheung says: “It’s time for the cold Taurus to put on their accountant hats and get better at researching the details of their transactions. Whether it’s with friends, coworkers, or family, this season will make you look a little harder at the fine details of your congenial relationships, especially when it comes to time, money, and effort.
Wherever you see debts or money owed to you, make sure they are collected or at least addressed; the last thing you want is one broke bull in the china shop.”
Lean into active listening this holiday, Gemini. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
For TwinThe theme of this season is relationships, all the beauty and carnage, and the countless ways they make and break us.
“Relationships are central to you this Gemini season, which means there’s a lot of room for melodramas to play out in your closest circles,” Cheunge shares. “The best way to deal with the stress of social drama is to become good at active listening. I know this is a difficult question, but it is necessary when so many misunderstandings arise due to poor listening skills.”
Really taking the time to listen to someone else will ensure that you respond with tact rather than anger. Praise be.
Cheung adds, “Additionally, make sure you take notes while the tea is spilling; you never know when you’ll need those receipts.’
Beware of the bah-humbug, Cancer. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
What is typically a season of flannel and merriment can leave you feeling itchy and isolated. Cancer.
Cheung recommends organizing your schedule and workflow to build in much-needed time for restoration. This is the hour to turn off the power and tune in so that you can show up with all your heart and full strength as the year draws to a close.
Protect your heart and know yourself, big cat. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
Lion Babies need to beware of the ex’s attraction so that wandering hearts don’t form into a noose.
Cheung explains, “Whether you welcome your past or cringe at the mere thought of it, this slowdown in your love life can lead to real headaches and heartbreak. And just when you thought cuffing season was going so smoothly! Take the opportunity to get good at asking the hard questions: How did your ex make you feel when you were with him? and “Is this something you would like to get back into?”
Delegate to dominate, Virgo. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
For Virgos, Cheung says that delegation and patience will pave the way to serenity, or at least send you down the unpaved path that leads away from chaos and self-imposed exile.
She says: ‘No one annoys you more than family, and you’re about to be flanked on all sides. It is not surprising that you are the point of contact for everyone when it comes to details, planning festivities and distributing information. I know it’s a thankless job, but your family wouldn’t know where to go if you weren’t there.
“Take the opportunity to become better at patience and develop text message and email templates to help you send messages to the family group chat and email list.”
Don’t mince your words or shout them out this season, Libra. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
As always, you did a great job putting out fires while keeping a cool head. Librabut in December you may reach your boiling point.
“Short fuse warning! Libra, you’re likely to lose track and misunderstand communication, which can lead to stress and anger during the holidays,” Cheung shares. “Do your utmost to find humor in these inevitable communication blunders. If you can’t laugh about it because it’s too frustrating, just tell the people around you how you feel.”
She promises that sticking to a clear and concise communication style is a better bet than resorting to passive-aggressive tactics or repression, both of which cause stomach ulcers and premature aging of the face and mind.
Tighten the purse strings, Scorpio. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
says Cheung Scorpios to take charge of avoiding the stress of overspending and delving into the art of re-gifting.
“Of all the signs, you are most likely to experience major buyer’s remorse when you buy something new or invest in new projects. At this point you better get good at assessing your inventory or reviewing contracts and the fine print,” she offers. “That said, I have a loophole for you! That’s totally possible repurchase everything you already own and give it as a gift to someone else.”
As my dear friend and Scorpio Rising once told me when they gifted me a beloved dress of hers, “It means more when I give you something that I still want.”
Go big and bold for personal improvement, Sagittarius. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
Cheung warns against shooting from the hip Archer to postpone aesthetic revisions and declarations of newness until the new year.
“If you were planning on getting a drastic makeover, I’d reconsider.” I say this because the trend you are looking for may not stand the test of time after the retrograde. What you might consider is reevaluating your aesthetic, vibe, and the things that help you express yourself in ways that don’t require dramatic change.”
Translation? Go big and bold when it comes to personal improvement, but for the love of everyone, don’t cut your bangs.
Cheung encourages sea goats to seek the invisible and work through their shadows. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
Happy return of the sun to you, Ibex. As you wait for the glory of your season, Cheung notes that things can be tough before things get right.
“This month is not a walk in the park as you will be confronted with past fears, limiting beliefs, bouts of imposter syndrome and all the annoying little things you have tried to hide in that one box in the corner of your spirit. ”
More boots on the ground than heads in the clouds, Cheung urges sea goats to seek the unseen to work through these shadows.
“Your dreams will literally speak to you as a way to process some of these themes. This provides a great opportunity to go within and talk about your hidden struggles with a loved one or, even better, a trusted therapist.
“You will feel lighter after doing this much-needed work.”
From tormented to healing, a poem.
Water bearers may be inundated with invitations this month. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
More lone wolf than party in a box, Cheung warns that Water Bearers may be inundated with invitations.
“Everyone wants a piece of you, Aquarius, and your social calendar perhaps overwhelm you this month,” she says. “The best way to deal with this is to bring together as many people as possible with the same values, so you can spend quality time in groups.”
Try to view these mix-and-mix situations as opportunities rather than liabilities, and steer the conversations toward things that matter – rather than trivial pursuits that don’t.
“Yes, you are in charge of the party, and if you don’t feel like you are a true or natural host, now is the perfect time to learn and become one!” Cheung advises.
Sometimes being a perfect host can look like guiding the group into altered states and awkward conversations. Be silly, stay calm, make snacks.
Pisces people will face challenges from authority figures this month. vladayoung – stock.adobe.com
says Cheung Pisces people need to be aware that authority figures, both parental and professional, can be particularly accusatory/instigating.
“This month you’ll be in a workaholic/people-pleaser mood, eager to cross off as many things as possible before the holiday rush overwhelms the office. With tensions high and productivity at risk during the holidays, make sure you triple check deadlines and start a paper trail to ensure you can pay your fine. When Scrooges begins asking questions, you will be safe from their probing wrath.”
While Pisces people may not be comfortable with showboating or glory-hogging, the time is right to not only accept praise but also shamelessly promote themselves.
Be proud of what you are and don’t be afraid to ask for more.
