Josh Classen’s week in wild weather on November 7

Here are some of the wild weather events that made headlines around the world this past week.

Clean-up efforts are underway following widespread flooding in eastern Spain that killed more than 200 people.

The crew continues to search for dozens of missing people.

The floods were caused by thunderstorms that brought heavy downpours.

Residents of many areas have spent the past week trying to get rid of the deep layer of mud covering towns and cities.

There has recently been an outbreak of tornadoes in parts of the southern US, including an EF-3 tornado that struck Oklahoma City.

That tornado decimated some neighborhoods, ripping roofs off homes, overturning vehicles and causing millions of dollars in damage.

Nearly a dozen people were injured, but there were no reports of fatalities.

Parts of Saudi Arabia were lashed by hail due to powerful thunderstorms.

In some areas the hail was so deep it looked like a thick layer of snow.

Parts of the country are in the middle of a cool spell that has also brought snow to mountainous areas.

More thunderstorms with heavy rain and possibly hail are expected in the coming days.
