Noel FieldingHe jumped in his career comedy and working on one of the most comforting shows on TV, the Great British Bake Off.
The 51 year old began his career in the public eye performing stand-up comedy in the late 1990s, during which time he met Mighty Boosh contributor Julian Barratt.
Their idea became one radio show in 2001, before being commissioned as a TV series and then as a stage show.
In the 2000s, Noel also appeared in shows such as Nathan Barley, The IT Crowd, AD/BC: A Rock Opera and Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace.
He also made guest appearances on Never Mind the Buzzcocks and Richard Ayoade’s Travel Man series.
In 2017, Noel was given his biggest presenting role to date: The Great British Bake-Off – which he is currently facing alongside This Morning star Alison Hammond.

Noel previously dated Robots in Disguise singer Dee Plume, who made small appearances on The Mighty Boosh and in its live adaptations.
In 2010 he started dating radio DJ Lliana Bird, who previously presented a weekly show on Radio X.
She is also an author who has published the book The Mice Who Sing For Sex – a non-fiction book about all the weird and wonderful things from the world of science – and the children’s book Baboo The Unusual Bee.
Liliana, 42, also has her own production company called Bird & Be and is co-founder of the charities Choose Love and The Kindly Collective, which fund and support charity projects for women, children and young people. animals.
The couple reportedly met after appearing in several episodes of The Mighty Boosh in 2010 and later had a brief cameo in Noel’s series Luxury Comedy as ‘Lady in car’ in 2014.

The couple is not married, but announced in 2018 that they were expecting their first child together.
The couple have two daughters together; Dali – born April 2018 and named after Noel’s favorite artist Salvador Dali and Iggy, born August 2020.
Although they keep their children out of the public eye and social media, Lliana sometimes shares photos of her eldest daughter’s artwork online.

“He creates the craziest little moments, he makes breakfast a real moment,” she said on the Happy Mum Happy Baby with Giovanna Fletcher podcast.
“I think I really dug into that and was like, ‘This is great. We get porridge and it’s funny and fun. And we wear funny hats, and we dance. And that’s okay.”
‘Maybe someone else’s children get a few spoonfuls of porridge because it goes faster, they eat it well and digest it well. But you know what, my kids are having a lot of fun.”
