Three men, posing as online customers, attacked a student after contacting him to buy a gaming console. The suspects – Rohit (24), Lakshya (22) and Satyam (20), all BCom students from different colleges – were identified.
On October 23, the police received a report of a robbery. The victim, Ayush Tripathi, a master’s student in computer education, reported that Rohit had contacted her through an online app. They met near Bhalswa Lake, where Rohit and his associates arrived in a white car. During the encounter, they robbed Tripathi of his console, beat him and fled with his motorcycle keys.
