A pregnant goat was pulled from the bottom of a well in Brierfield on Monday.

The Brierfield Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department said the goat somehow found its way to the bottom of a 20-foot-deep dry well.

The fire department said crews worked frantically to save the baby goat.

The fire department said Deputy Chief Jackson Chance secured the area and prepared firefighter Gavin Brooks to be lowered into the well to safely rescue the animal.
