Therapy is so helpful. And I would highly recommend therapy to anyone who needs it. It really helped me.”

In the same conversation, when Murthy shared his views on the power of therapy, Khan added, “It’s a very powerful thing. Therapy is a very powerful thing.” The actor then talked about how he embraced therapy. Initially, Aamir Khan said he was quite apprehensive about getting such help. But later he realized that he cannot solve every problem. in his life alone, and it’s okay to need help.

He explained: ‘All my life I have felt that I am a reasonably intelligent man. I can think about things. I am a sensible man. If there is a problem, I can solve it myself. No, I can’t. It doesn’t matter how intelligent you are. It doesn’t matter how verbally wise you are. In India, many of us feel that if I go to therapy, I have a mental problem. I don’t want people to know that I’m going to therapy. It indicates that I have psychological problems. It’s okay to need help. And I think I really benefited from the therapy.”

Ira Khan, who was present in the same conversation along with her father, reposted the video on Instagram stories. However, she didn’t write anything in the caption of the post. She has always spoken openly about her struggles with mental health. The youngster even opened up about the same in multiple social media posts.

In another part of the interview, the Laal Singh Chaddha actor said that it was his daughter Ira who pushed him onto the path of therapy. However, he found her suggestion extremely transformative, saying, “I think Ira pushed me down that path. We even started co-therapy to work on our relationship… It has had a transformative effect.”
