Attempted armed robbery – 200 blocks Slimmon Road/100 blocks Lenore Drive

Saskatoon police are investigating a pair of attempted armed robberies that occurred on New Year’s Day.

On January 1, 2025 at approximately 5:45 p.m., police were called to the 200 block of Slimmon Road. A man reported that he had been in the vestibule of an ATM when he was approached by an unknown man holding a knife and demanding money. When the victim refused, the male suspect fled.

A short time later, a woman was approached while using an ATM in the 100 block of Lenore Drive. Once again an unknown man demanded money. When the woman refused, the suspect fled on foot.

The description of the suspect is similar in both incidents. He is described as being between 30 and 40 years old, weighing approximately 60kg, wearing all black – including a black balaclava or mask.

Neither victim was physically injured.
