The Great British Bake-Off right Paul Hollywood tells the details about some of the show’s famous fans, including his friend Blake Lively.
In an interview published on Tuesday, December 31, Hollywood, 58, told the London Times he often exchanges text messages with Lively, 37, who famously attended Baking twith her husband, Ryan Reynoldslast year.
‘I have a lot of time for Blake. She texts every now and then, to keep up with what she’s been up to, what Ryan is up to. And it’s beautiful because regardless of their job, they are just a normal family, (mom) and dad to great kids,” said the professional chef. “They are very nice people. I like that communication. I don’t have many friends who are celebrities, it’s not me. I don’t go to a lot of red carpet things. I don’t go to the parties in London. I don’t like London.”

Lively and Reynolds, 48, their journey documented to the famous Bake off Set in England in June 2023 while Reynolds was filming Deadpool and Wolverine.
Hollywood hinted at his connection to Lively and shared a photo of the Gossip girl visit from alum. “Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken a seat… welcome to cake corner Blake #legendinthetent #getbaking @vancityreynolds,” he teased costar Prue Leith via Instagram.

Reynolds, meanwhile, included Hollywood and Leith in his message on social media from the meeting place. “A complete and unconditional hug of pure serotonin,” said the If actor quickly subtitled with the dynamic baking duo.
Two months later, Lively released a commercial for her brand Betty Booze with the Bake off right. “Finally made in Hollywood. @bettybooze @paul.hollywood,” she wrote alongside a clip of Hollywood testing her latest cocktails in his kitchen. “Happy birthday .”
The Great British Bake Off has crowned many winners since its debut on BBC Two in 2010, and the show has managed to entice viewers around the world thanks to its popularity on Netflix. While Hollywood has a lot of love for Lively and Reynolds, he gave in to the London Times that he is less familiar with another superfan: Kylie Jennerwho shared one video of herself watching her “favorite show” in October.

Hollywood also said he was surprised that the unusual British reality competition is such a hit among celebrities.
“I mean, then Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, Michael J Fox And Lynda Carterand all these other people are coming out as big fans of the show, it’s crazy,” he said. “Do you think this is weird – for a bunch of people in tents in the middle of the British countryside?”
