ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. (WITN) – An Eastern Carolina police department says they are looking for two men suspected of robbing a discount store on Sunday.
Elizabeth City Police say officers were called to a Dollar General at 1903 Weeksville Road for an armed robbery around 9:40 p.m.
Police say they are looking for two men after speaking to employees who say they entered the business with guns and demanded money.
Officers say the suspects left the Dollar General with an undisclosed amount of money.
The first suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket, black pants and black shoes. The second suspect is described as a black male, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing a black jacket, gray pants and black shoes.

The Police are also investigating another armed robbery at the Circle D Food Mart on Saturday. Police say they spoke with two employees who said two men entered the business and demanded money.
