Video shows thieves holding store employees at gunpoint in Chicago: CPD

Police are looking for a group responsible for a series of robberies in Chicago on Lincoln Avenue, Pulaski Road and Diversey Avenue.

CHICAGO (WLS) — New video shows a group of suspects holding store employees at gunpoint and then robbing the business earlier this month.

The robberies took place at three different locations on the north and northwest sides of the city, in the early morning hours of December 6:

  • 2600 block of N. Lincoln Ave. at 2:21 am

  • 3000 block of N. Pulaski Rd. at 3:43 am

  • 3200 block of W. Diversey Ave. at 3:46 am

In the video you can see the suspects running in wearing masks.

They pull out weapons and then force employees to open the cash register.

In one incident, the thieves beat a worker, and in another case they also robbed a customer.

Police are still looking for the four men involved.
