Emergency repairs will have to be carried out overnight on a burst sewer on the M8 near Braehead Shopping Center in Glasgow.
The westbound off-ramp at Junction 25A was closed from about 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Friday due to the roadway being flooded.
Traffic Scotland confirmed the problem was caused by a broken sewer pipe.
Scottish Water said the junction will be closed between 10pm and 6am for the duration of the repairs, which are expected to last around a week.
