Bill Belichick reveals Tom Brady’s favorite touchdown with Patriots

Tom Brady had 614 touchdowns while a member of the New England PatriotsBut Bill Belichick has one that stands out the most.

During a recent episode of the “Let’s go!In the podcast, Belichick revealed that Brady’s Super Bowl XXXIX four-yard touchdown pass to David Givens was his favorite.

“Tom, one of your biggest plays ever was in the Super Bowl against the Eagles. This comes down to a fundamental execution that is so critical.” Belichick said. “… We have to go to third man and make it a shoulder throw. That’s what puts pressure on a great performance in the most critical moments of the game. That’s how you win.”

The pass came with just over a minute left in the second quarter and the game was tied 7-7. The Patriots ultimately won 24-21.

It was a play that forced Brady to think quickly and execute quickly after the play failed when Christian Fauria fell on the play and Super Bowl MVP Deion Branch was covered by the Eagles. Brady found Givens and connected with him en route to the victory.
