Elyria’s Expresso Bakery is looking for a new owner

ELYRIA, Ohio (WOIO) – Expresso Bakery’s owner Keith Black is preparing to step away for good in 2025.

“It kind of hits you a little bit when you’re going through things,” Black said.

The bakery has been through a lot since it opened in November 2019.

It survived the pandemic and a terrible one at that car accident.

Black says Sunday was their last day of the year.

“Sad because it won’t be there anymore, happy because my body can rest and I can spend time with family,” Black said.

Black previously told this to the community this month about his decision to close, but he hopes the legacy lives on.

“A lot of people are sad, but we’re going to try to sell the property and keep it going,” Black said.

Until then, you can visit the bakery for six days in 2025.

You can visit Expresso on January 3 to 5 and January 10 to 12.
