Whiteoak continues to add wins in SHAC play

The Whiteoak Lady Wildcats brought home another win in the Southern Hills Athletic Conference victory, this time defeating the host Manchester Lady Greyhounds 65-44.

Whiteoak (5-1, 6-1) trailed 13-10 after the first quarter, where they got three 3-pointers in the quarter for WHS from Charli Hauke, Kylee Hamm (who also made a free throw) and Addy Hauke.

The second frame went more for the Lady ‘Cats as they defeated the Lady Greyhounds 16-9, with the 16 points for Whiteoak coming from Charli Hauke ​​with a 3-pointer, two baskets from Hamm, three free throws from Jillian Lucas, a 3-pointer from Addy Hauke ​​​​and four points from Torie Potts.

WHS led 26-22 at halftime.

The third quarter for Whiteoak was excellent with a 23 point effort as they held Manchester to 13 points in the same frame.

Whiteoak in the third saw Charli Hauke ​​and Hamm sink a basket each, Lucas knocked down a three-pointer, Addison Roberts made two baskets, Addy Hauke ​​made two three-pointers and a two-point basket, and Potts made two baskets.

For the fourth and final frame, Whiteoak scored 16 points and MHS nine points.

The final frame for the Lady ‘Cats had a basket made by Charli Hauke, Roberts with a 3-pointer and three two-point baskets, a 3-pointer and free throw made by Addy Hauke, plus a free throw by Potts.

Whiteoak’s leading scorer was Addy Hauke ​​with 18 points, making one two-point basket, five three-pointers, and she was 1 of 2 from the free throw line.

Hamm scored 10 total points and finished the SHAC game with three two-point buckets, a 3-pointer and she was 1 of 4 from the free throw line.

Charli Hauke ​​​​scored nine points with three two-point baskets and a three-pointer.

Also with nine points was Potts with three two-point baskets, and she finished 3-for-4 on her free throw attempts.

Lucas finished the game with six points as she made a 3-pointer and went 3-for-6 from the free throw line.

Manchester was led by Bella Hughes with 19 points as she totaled five three-pointers, one two-point basket and went 2-of-4 from the free throw line.

For the game, the Lady ‘Cats totaled 15 two-point baskets, nine three-pointers and they were 8 of 14 from the free throw line.

Manchester (0-5, 2-6) totaled nine two-point baskets, seven three-pointers, and they were 5-for-15 from the free-throw line.
