A better start to the round for McGregor, who sets a fast pace from the start. He really wants to force himself on Lowe…
Perhaps the result of some instructions from his corner. McGregor backs his man up against the ropes and throws a left to the body and a right to the head, but Lowe takes them well.
Now also a small cut on Lowe’s eye. Warm up nicely.

McGregor similarly tries to start the third, but Lowe manages to catch him this time, landing a nice left hook.
Lowe tries to do more of the same, but McGregor backs off.
McGregor is also landing here and there, and they look like heavy punches, but they just don’t make a dent in Lowe, who is naturally a bigger man.
Barry Jones on communications notes that he might have been able to score a knockout by now at bantamweight, where McGregor was European champion.

Lowe looks very heavy-handed there. Every time he lands something big on McGregor, the Scot really feels it.
McGregor lands a nice uppercut as Lowe tries to get inside, then connects with a decent left hook.
Lowe has definitely been the aggressor since he got that big shot in the first round as McGregor tries to box.
It’s like McGregor felt the power and decided to switch things up, and Lowe definitely knows he can hurt his man, so he goes after the big shots.

Aggressive start from McGgregor, who Lowe promised to put to sleep earlier this week.
Lowe focuses on the body early, but he’s not really looking forward to a slugfest with McGregor, who has heavy hands when he likes to use them.
Lowe lands a CRACK of a shot to McGregor’s chin and looks to rock his man, but the Scot comes back with a huge left hand of his own.
Great opening round that Lowe finishes quite well. both men are already landing bombs.
