Bird lives! The SWR Big Band at the Berliner Philharmonie
Saxophonist and composer Charlie “Bird” Parker is a legend. The Jazzszene are brilliant in improvisation, technically virtuoso, rhythmically and harmonically innovative and revolutionary. The Karriere des Musikers, gilded as one of the Gründerväter des Bebops, war kurz.
