MOSCOW, November 20. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have lost more than 400 troops in the Kursk region in the past day, with 11 Ukrainian soldiers surrendering as prisoners of war, the Russian Defense Ministry said.
In total, the enemy has lost more than 34,390 troops since fighting began in the region.
Russian forces have completed the destruction of a Ukrainian battle group that was blockaded in the area of the Olgovskaya Forest.

Operation to neutralize Ukrainian forces
– Units of the Russian Battle Group North defeated Ukrainian armed formations in the areas of the settlements of Aleksandriya, Viktorovka, Daryino, Lebedevka, Malaya Loknya, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka and Sverdlikovo.
– Russian forces completed the destruction of a Ukrainian battle group that was blockaded near the Olgovskaya Forest.
– Russian operational/tactical and military aircraft and missile forces hit enemy manpower and equipment in the Kursk and Sumy regions.

– During the day the enemy lost more than 400 troops, six infantry fighting vehicles, including a German-made Marder, four armored personnel carriers, including an American-made M113, a Bogdana self-propelled artillery system, a British-made AS. -90 self-propelled artillery systems, an electronic warfare station and 20 motor vehicles. Eleven Ukrainian soldiers surrendered as prisoners of war.
