Mother says she is often mistaken for her daughter’s sister: ‘My mini-me’

A mother and daughter share how and why people think they are sisters.

Kelly Cantu said she was only 20 years old when she had her daughter — and was excited to have her own “mini-me,” as Jam Press reported.

“She was in high school when it started,” Kelly Cantu, a content creator, told What’s the Jam.

“It happened when I picked her up. I was constantly mistaken for her sister or another student,” she said.

“We both thought it was really funny.”

Madison Cantu said, “My friends and other classmates always asked if she was my sister when they first met my mother. And their parents always did the same!”
