Come strictly dance viewers have been left ‘speechless’ after a certain star went through to the next round – and are now accusing him of being ‘fixed’.
The latest elimination of the 2024 series arrived on Sunday (November 17) following a Saturday episode broadcast live from BlackpoolMiranda actor Sarah Hadland steals the show.
Opera singer Wynne Evans and Gladiators star Montell Douglas had to perform again after they found themselves in the dreaded dancing competition – and all four judges sent Evans and his professional partner Katya Jones home.
However, many noted that one person was extremely lucky to escape the bottom two after a lackluster performance the night before: Pete Wicks.
The The only way is Essex star proved his popularity with the viewing audience after making the cut, despite receiving by far the lowest votes and finishing the night at the bottom of the leaderboard. When the news was announced, both Wick and his professional partner Jowita Przystal gasped in shock
His Cha-cha-cha to “I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred had the judges laughing with his “entertaining” hip action. Craig Revel Horwood hated the performance so much that he scored him four out of ten.

“I’m surprised #PeteWicks is done. He made so many mistakes,” one viewer wrote, while another added: “Pete Wicks is still active Strictly is criminal.”
Many others expressed their disbelief, charging that the show was “fixed” to ensure Wicks survived, given how “absolutely awful” his performance was.
“Speaking of fixing this league, how the hell did Pete Wicks stay out of the bottom two?” one person asked, while others emphasized how solid the reality star’s fanbase must be.
The rest Strictly 2024 participants include Douglas, Hadland, Wicks, Tasha Ghouri, Chris McCausland, JB Gill and Jamie Borthwick.
After Evans was eliminated, the opera singer said his time on the show had been “amazing.”
