St. Luke’s acquisition of Grand View Health in ‘full swing’

The planned acquisition of Grand View Health in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, by St. Luke’s University Health Network in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, is underway.

The two parties signed a letter of intent on September 5 and regulatory approval is expected in the second quarter of 2025, with due diligence between the two in “full swing,” according to a November 13 GVH investor call presentation obtained by Beckers.

A member replacement agreement is currently under review and the goal is to sign it before December 31. The statutes of the foundation board, the hospital board and the medical staff must also be amended or replaced, according to the presentation.

St. Luke’s is a nonprofit organization that includes 15 campuses and more than 300 care locations, according to the organization. website.
