Israeli strikes hit Damascus’ Mazzeh district, home to embassies, security headquarters and United Nations offices, on Thursday, killing four people, according to a report citing war monitor.
“Four people were killed in the Israeli attack on an apartment in Mazzeh, Damascus, while another Israeli attack hit Qudsaya,” AFP Rami Abdel Rahman, head of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, was quoted as saying.
According to Syrian state media, the attacks on the apartments left an unspecified number of casualties.

News agency SANA also published video footage of smoke covering a street.
In Qudsaya, west of Damascus, a residential building was targeted, the agency said.
