Man discovers neighbor secretly diverted water he pumped with a generator and sold it to others for a profitMan discovers that neighbor has secretly pumped out water.

In his post, he explained that he had been using his generator to pump water into his tank for the past few days due to a power outage.

However, he was stunned to discover that one of his neighbors had found a way to bypass the water flow, divert it to her tank and sell it to others to make money.

In his post he expressed his frustration: “We haven’t had electricity for three days. I saved my generator for moments like this, so I could pump water for myself and my fellow tenants. I have always done this without asking anyone for a cent.”

“Yesterday I found out that as soon as I turned on the generator, a tenant diverted the water to her tank and started selling it to the neighbors.”

“Meanwhile, the main apartment that was supposed to receive water was not receiving water. I used gasoline to pump water, and someone else benefits. Why are people so selfish and greedy?”

As the post circulated online, concerned users flooded the comments section to share similar experiences of abusive neighbors.

@IsoloShoemaker: “I was once like you, until I decided to stop and see if anyone would take it on. Three tenants came to ask me why I didn’t pump. You already know my reaction to that.”

@tallmanfromkd: “The same thing a woman took in her house. No light and now a borehole, so I now took out a pipe and I open it sometimes so she can get water. I noticed that every time my mother wants to use water, there will be no water for my mother, until someone told me that the woman has sold water.”

@ojaoyingbo: “I like the way you asked why people are selfish and greedy and not the usual Nigerians are a greedy cliché. There is nothing special about Nigerians. We are simply behaving in the same way that other countries will behave when faced with the same challenges as us.”

@Sen_Adedotun: “Most Nigerians are more evil, selfish and greedy than some of our politicians. The only reason they don’t exhibit these traits is because they don’t have them.”

@omo_ola_eluku: “Do you think Nigerians are normal? We are the reflection of the kind of people who rule us. Give those who criticize Tinubu the opportunity to make a difference in their neighborhood. You’ll see how bad we are if we get the chance .”
