Former President Donald Trump won the 2024 presidential election against Vice President Kamala Harris in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
Since then, a slew of celebrities have taken to social media to share their thoughts on the highly anticipated outcome.
“Please unfollow me if you voted against women’s rights,” says Christina Applegate wrote via X on Wednesday morning.
“Against the rights of the disabled. Yes that. Unfollow me because what you did is unreal. You don’t want these kinds of followers. So yes. Finished. Even after today I will close this fan account that I have had for so many years because it is sick.

Meanwhile, “One Tree Hill” actress Sophia Bush denounced the “MAGA gang” by posting a link showing MAGA’s former evangelical nonprofit president Jason Yates being arrested for alleged possession of child pornography.
“Great job empowering the MAGA gang, America,” Bush wrote via X. “I wonder how many people see this and STILL say, ‘But at least he’s not a black woman!’ tonight in the privacy of their home. My heart is broken .”
Cardi B too had a strong reaction to Harris’ loss after publicly supporting her last week at a rally in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

“I hate you all so much,” she told voters who specifically voted for Trump in the battleground state of Georgia.
The “I Like It” rapper also shared her reactions to the results before Trump took the lead, admitting she was “really sad.”
“No matter what happens, I know (Harris) is probably emotional right now,” she said via Instagram Live. “I know there’s probably a lot going on in her head and I know she’s not listening to this, but she’ll see it eventually. I just hope she knows no matter what happens tonight, millions of people are proud of her. Women all over the world are proud of her. Women of color are proud of her.”

Andy Cohen called on Republicans –– including Trump –– who claimed Trump’s 2020 loss to President Joe Biden was ‘rigged’ by asks his X followers“so the elections are NOT rigged????”
The Bravo personality later clarified his comments share a sweet video with his son and said to him: “We love our country, yes we do. We will persevere, we will move forward.”
Lili Reinhart took to social media to address Trump’s past accusations — including at least 26 women publicly accusing the president-elect of some form of sexual assault.
“I cannot fathom the feelings of the women who came forward about their sexual assault by Trump,” she said wrote on X. “Millions of people vote for their abuser. My heart absolutely breaks for these women. I believe you, and I’m so sorry.”

Bette Midler shared her thoughts by quoting a passage from American journalist Henry Louis Mencken, which read in part: “When a candidate for public office faces the voters, he does not face men of reason; he is confronted by a gang of men whose main distinguishing feature is their complete inability to weigh ideas, or understand even the most basic ones.
The journalist went on to write that the man who becomes president is often “the most cunning and mediocre.”
Meanwhile, “High Fidelity” actor John Cusack put his views more bluntly write via X“The fact that the country would choose to destroy itself by voting for a convicted felon, rapist and Nazi is a sign of deep nihilism, to say the least.”

‘Glee’ actor Kevin McHale reflected on the likelihood that Trump would appoint more conservative Supreme Court justices during his term and wrote“The Supreme Court is gone for the rest of my life. Ultra-conservative evangelical bigotry, xenophobia and racism are the mandate.”
Former “Community” actress Yvette Nicole Brown also spoke out about the “shame” of her home state of Ohio electing Bernie Moreno to the U.S. Senate for the first time over Democratic incumbent since 2007, Sherrod Brown.
“This is a shame on a level I can’t even quantify,” she says posted on X. ‘My home state of Ohio chose a criminal. And it looks like this nation is electing a criminal. AmeriKKKa can be seen tonight. Just show.”
Author Stephen King added in a social media post: “There’s a sign you can see in many stores selling beautiful but fragile items: BEAUTIFUL TO LOOK AT, DELIGHTFUL to hold, BUT IF YOU MAKE IT, THEN IT HAS BEEN SOLD. The same can be said about democracy.”

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy went on a long rant about his “shocking reactions” to Trump’s “demolition” of Harris. Instagram post shared late Tuesday evening.
“People like me, independents or moderates, Democrats didn’t give us a choice,” he said. “The Democrats gave us no choice. That was the worst campaign and their sheer arrogance and moral superiority drove people away. If you say you’re voting for Trump, suddenly you’re a Nazi, you’re Hitler, you’re trash. Enough, enough!”
Portnoy then blasted Harris and her party for “alienating all these middle-class people by pretending you’re better” than other people and “flat-out insulting our intelligence.”
Various celebrities –– including Taylor SwiftDick Van Dyke and Beyoncé –– have all publicly supported Harris, but many of them have not commented on the loss.

Trump became the expected winner early Wednesday morning after capturing the coveted battlegrounds of Georgia, North Carolina and Pennsylvania.
The businessman will become the 47th president of the United States, after previously serving as the 45th president when he defeated Hillary Clinton in 2016. He then lost to President Joe Biden in 2020.
Trump thanked “the American people for the extraordinary honor of being elected” ahead of his official victory during a celebration at his Mar-a-Lago estate early Wednesday.
