LEBANON, Tenn. (WSMV) – Two women were arrested Tuesday for shoplifting at multiple stores, according to Lebanon Police.
Police said they responded to the Ross on West Main for reports of shoplifters. Officers located the two women who matched the descriptions given and appeared to be concealing clothing.
LPD said the women also had a tool to remove security tags.
Further investigation revealed that the women had also shoplifted from stores in the Hermitage and Mount Juliet areas.
The combined total of stolen property was more than $1,000, LPD said.
Police said the women, who are not from the area, have been arrested and charges are pending.
