Lizzo donned an Ozempic-themed Halloween costume as the singer poked fun at an episode of ‘South Park’ in which she was parodied earlier this year.
Monday has the 36 years old took to Instagram to share several posts with photos and videos of herself wearing a red and white packaging of a fictional weight loss drug called Lizzo, with a yellow measuring tape around her waist.
Last month, Lizzo, born Melissa Viviane Jefferson, slammed accusations that her slimmed-down figure was due to Ozempic.
“LizzOzempic dump,” the four-time Grammy Award winner captioned one post.
In her slideshow, Lizzo shared a video of herself holding a slice of pizza while standing next to a person dressed as famous ‘South Park’ character Eric Cartman.

The next two photos showed Lizzo posing in front of a black car while flashing a peace sign and then giving her a thumbs up. Lizzo was seen in the car in the next two images with a bottle of Clase Azul Reposado Tequila and ended her post with a video of her rolling up the window of the car.
In another post, we saw Lizzo and the person in the Eric Cartman costume dancing to the song ‘APT’ by Rosé and Bruno Mars.
“It’s that time of year when I feed you all so ridiculously and you’re so welcome baby,” she wrote in the caption, along with a smiling face with its tongue sticking out.

The singer also shared a photo of herself posing in a fake ad for the weight-loss drug Lizzo. The ad was emblazoned with the words: “Need self-love? Try Lizzo! Lose your guilt. Gain confidence.”
A warning label on the ad read: “Side effects include a smile on your face and a cheerful walk.”
In another post, Lizzo has a video of himself in costume while turning off the camera and dancing in front of a cutout of the Eric Cartman character. She posed for the cutout in a trio of photos she shared another message.

Lizzo’s “South Park” parody comes after she took the joke about her to heart when an episode of the long-running animated series aired in May.
A Television special “South Park”. titled “The End of Obesity” referred to the singer as an alternative to Ozempic, harnessing the power of “no tipping.”
“FDA-approved Lizzo will make you feel good about your weight, and it costs 90% less than Ozempic,” said a voiceover. “In case studies, 70% of patients on Lizzo no longer cared how much they weighed. Lizzo helps you eat all you want and keep physical activity to a minimum.”

“I have lowered my standards and expectations,” one character explained. “I don’t give two s—s!”
The commercial added: “Some patients report constipation while listening to Lizzo… Serious side effects can include pancreatitis and hypothermia and literally blowing out your ears.”
Lizzo started working on it later Instagram and TikTok to provide a live response to the scene.

“My worst fear has come true,” Lizzo told fans. “I’m referenced in an episode of South Park. I’m so scared. I’m going to do a blind duet with it now.”
After the clip, she commented, “That’s crazy. I just feel like, damn, I’m really that b—-. I’m really that b—-. I really showed the world how to love yourself have to keep and I don’t give a fuck to the point where these guys in Colorado know who I am and put it in their cartoon that’s been around for 25 years.
She continued, “I really am that b—- and I show you how not to give a f— and I will continue to show you how not to give a f–k.”

In an Instagram post last month, Lizzo shut down speculation that she was taking Ozempic after showing off her dramatic weight loss.
“When you finally get Ozempic charges after five months of strength training and a calorie deficit,” Lizzo wrote in a video post.

The post was captioned “‘oZeMpIc or cOkE?’ – a fan,” along with a series of crying face emojis. The caption was addressed to a social media user who had commented on an earlier post Lizzo shared, which showed a video of her donning black leather shorts over a beige bodysuit from her brand Yizzy.

In her later post, Lizzo included a screenshot of the comments section of her previous post, in which an Instagram user wrote, “was she on Ozempic or snorting coke.”
Lizzo replied and wrote, “Why are you following me?”
The Hitmaker of ‘Good As Hell’ has documented her weight loss journey on Instagram. In an April interview with The New York Times, she explained that she was on a diet, saying her approach was to shed pounds gradually.
“I have been methodical and have lost weight very slowly,” Lizzo told the outlet.
