Police are looking for suspects in an armed robbery at the Hagerstown supermarket

HAGERSTOWN, Md. – Maryland State Police are looking for three suspects involved in an early morning armed robbery in Washington County. The incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. Sunday when troopers from the Hagerstown Barrack responded to reports of a robbery at a convenience store on Lager Drive.

According to police, a male suspect, described as a white man in his mid-to-late 30s, entered the store and threatened the manager with a knife before fleeing with an undisclosed amount of cash. Authorities noted that no injuries were reported during the robbery.

Preliminary information shows that two more suspects were involved in the incident. A female suspect, described as a white female, was last seen wearing a black jacket and gray sweatpants. An unknown third suspect reportedly drove a white ML-series Mercedes, from which all three individuals managed to escape.

The Maryland State Police are urging the public to provide any information that could help locate the suspects. “We are seeking the public’s assistance in helping locate three suspects involved in an armed robbery early this morning in Washington County,” the department said in an online post.
