The Davao City Economic Enterprise (CEE) said everything is ready for Undas 2024.

Maximo Macalipes Jr., head of business enterprises for the CEE region, said his office has already determined the number of places available for those who want to sell at cemeteries.

CEE staff have also completed the identification of designated areas for interested concessionaires to avoid disruption to traffic and ensure the safety of those visiting the cemeteries.

“The Ang City Economic Enterprise office designates the boundaries of the relevant areas (the Central and Eastern European country has already designated areas where they can conduct business),” Macalipes said during the ISpeak Media Forum on Thursday.

A total of 99 concessionaire spaces are available in 14 private cemeteries, and 287 spaces in 10 public cemeteries managed and supervised by CEE.

Macalipes said that of the 99 private cemeteries, 42 are in Buhangin Memorial Park; eight at Forest Lake–Maa Cemetery; 33 at Davao Memorial Park; and 16 sites at Mt.Apo Memorial Park.

Of the 287 public cemetery sites, 39 are wireless sites; 106 in Calinan; 57 in Tugbok; There are 20 slots in Mintal; 34 in Toril; seven in Panacan; two in Bunawan; and 22 seats are available in Tagakpan.

Guidance for suppliers was published earlier this week.

Macalipes added that vendors who wish to operate during Undas can contact their office to obtain special permits.

Meanwhile, Macalipes said the CEE Maintenance Team, Crematoria Team and Cemetery Operations Team along with the City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) team have already completed clean-up work at all 10 public cemeteries in the city in preparation for Undas.

Eucharistic masses are also scheduled for November 1 and 2 at Wireless Public Cemetery, Maa Public Cemetery, Tugbok Public Cemetery and Tagakpan Public Cemetery. CIO
