The gas company said supplies had been restored to most of the 300 properties affected by the fault on Tuesday afternoon.
SGN reported that engineers had returned to Winnersh in Berkshire to “reconnect gas supplies and upgrade some existing pipelines on Reading Road” earlier.
The company said “fewer than 30 properties” were currently without supply but hoped to have them reconnected to gas supplies by the end of the day.
The fault affected properties on 14 streets.
