Traditionally, the Seattle Seahawks And San Francisco 49ers got into an argument on Sunday. Kenneth Walker threw Deommodore Lenoir like a rag doll, causing emotions to run high.

It was yet another heated incident between two NFL teams that have a long history of disfavor toward each other and that always seems to reach a fever pitch in late November.

The play itself was harmless. Seattle threw a short pass to AJ Barner, who tried to drive with his legs for every extra yard. He was all alone against three defenders.

Walker, a 6-foot-4, 211-pound muscleman, ran in to try to help his teammate break free. He delivered a heavy blow to Lenoir’s chest. You couldn’t ask for a better block.

Lenoir didn’t see Walker coming! The fourth-year defensive back got off balance and tried to go back after regaining his balance after the third year. That didn’t go well for him. He got work.

Shortly after the play was shot, Lenoir returned to Walker for some extracurricular activities. He not only lost the first block, but also the cheap shot.

Predictably, the situation escalated even further. Several players from both teams intervened to try to break things up. They ended up in the middle of a pile of laundry.

Walker and Lenoir were both cited for unsportsmanlike conduct, so the penalties were offset. No one else involved in the skirmish was punished. The N.F.L the referees did not determine that evictions were necessary and both players at the center of the match were allowed to remain in the game. It was the right decision, but Lenoir will forever be clowned for getting absolutely physical.
