OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – A few afternoon showers formed as a cold front moved through the area. Any remaining showers will dissipate around sunset. Saturday night will be partly cloudy with lows in the upper 30s and lower 40s. The wind will also decrease tonight.
Sunday will be partly to mostly cloudy, with a return to normal highs in the mid-50s. The wind will be calm and changeable.
The next chance for showers is Monday as a fairly strong system moves in from the southwest. Heavy rain is expected to move from south to north on Monday morning. Potential rainfall appears to be between 0.50″ and 1.50″. The rain will stop on Tuesday morning.
Once this system passes, surrounding moisture could produce snow showers late Tuesday night into Wednesday. The odds are LOW, but there may still be some flurries. Very little to no accumulation is expected as the heavier snow will remain to our east. It will be windy for most of the next week with gusts of up to 30 km/h. Temperatures will also dip into the 40s for highs and 20s for lows by mid-week.
