Russell’s first warning forecast: Cold night ahead

Winter is giving us a taste of winter this evening as bright, clear skies combine with calm winds ahead of possible frost inland. Temperatures will drop into the mid 30s. Along the coast, a light northerly wind will keep lows between 40 and 50 degrees a bit more comfortable.

Sunday’s weather? Absolute perfection! Lots of sunshine and high temperatures in the low to mid 60s create the perfect setting for game day or a backyard barbecue. As the high pressure moves away from the coast, we will see a light southerly breeze return in the evening.

Looking ahead, a cold front is on our radar mid-week, but that brings more bark than bite. Rain chances remain low and temperatures remain comfortable for the season.
