Last week, two men were arrested after being accused of fwhere a man is seriously injured during a fight in New Brunswick, the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office announced Tuesday.
Lorenzo Roman-Tecu, 33, of New Brunswick, was arrested on Nov. 7 and Eustaquio Garcia Cuxum, 19, also of New Brunswick, was arrested the next day. The pair were charged with murder, the office said.
Detectives determined the men had an altercation with 23-year-old New Brunswick resident Gonzalo Napoleon Quispez-Parades on Seaman Street on Nov. 6, investigators said.
When police arrived on the scene at 10:55 p.m., they found Quispez-Parades bleeding profusely on the sidewalk with a large laceration to his abdomen, officials said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both Roman-Tecu and Garcia Cuxum are being held at the Middlesex County Adult Correction Center pending the results of their pre-trial detention hearings.
