The Israeli military confirmed on Tuesday that sirens sounded in Eilat, a strategic port city on the Red Sea.
Responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which said they had targeted a “vital target” in Eilat with drones. The group has been carrying out attacks on Israeli targets since the start of the conflict in Gaza.
The escalation marks heightened tensions as the pro-Iranian group continues its campaign against Israel, raising concerns about growing regional instability.
