The Chargers loss didn’t teach us anything new about the Browns, it just confirmed our suspicions: Dan Labbe

CLEVELAND, OH — Tanning General Manager Andrew Berry was among the leading voices pushing for the league’s trade deadline to be moved up. His argument was that it would give more teams, in a 17-game world, and with an 18-game future, more time to figure out who they are, creating a more active deadline. He didn’t get his full wish – he wanted it moved more than a week later – but it was moved back.

He couldn’t have imagined a scenario in which the Browns would be the team picked up by the warring Vultures less than a week after Halloween in the new version of this deadline.
