ONE world title challengers aren’t the only thing flyweight Muay Thai world champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon is kicking at. “The Iron Man” also kicks a football around in his spare time.
Rodtang returns to action ONE 169: Malykhin vs. Reug Reugon Friday, November 8. There he will defend his crown in Bangkok, where he will take on Thailand’s Lumpinee Stadium Jacob Smith.
The Thai megastar uses football as an escape. But the competitive aspect never leaves him, as he plays against other top athletes.
“It’s a fun sport and there are a lot of friends to play with. I usually play with fellow ONE fighters like Superlek or Superbon, and also with some of my other friends,” Rodtang said.
“Muay Thai is my career and my life. Football is my happiness, but I play football to have fun and relax from work.”
