At the start of King Charles’ Christmas speech this year, viewers may have been surprised when he didn’t immediately talk about his illness or that of his family this year, but about the 80th anniversary of D-Day. In fact, it was several minutes before the speech referred to how “we all go through some form of suffering at some point in our lives, whether it be mental or physical.
